Located right next to the water mill of Fontanaluccia , the Bed and Breakfast Il Mulino 's objective is to provide a family hospitality at affordable prices.
The village of Fontanaluccia (800 metres above sea level) is located in the municipality of Frassinoro, in the foothills of the Apennines, in the valley of the river Dolo, on the border between the provinces of Modena and Reggio Emilia and between the regions of Tuscany and Emilia Romagna.
The picturesque landscapes characterized by chestnut and beech woods and the dam on the river Dolo, the air purity, the optimal climate, the open and sociable mountain people make it a preferred destination for those seeking peace and quiet away from the noise of the city and the stifling heat of summer days.
The location offers the possibility of hiking, horseback riding, cycling (mountain biking) quad trails and trial bikes, hunting activities during the hunting season (with early morning breakfast on request), bird watching in the wood and river areas, trout fishing and possibilities of rafting in the clear waters of the river.
In the village there are sports facilities with tennis court, multi-purpose facility with indoor gym, football pitch and playground for children.
Other facilities include: a cinema, a restaurant, grocery shops - butcher - haberdashery, newsagent, post office, hairdresser, bank with ATM, dental surgery and one bar.
At short distance ( 13 km ) are easily accessible ski resorts in Febbio (municipality of Villa Minozzo). In the town of Frassinoro (11 Km) and Piandelagotti (12 km) there are Nordic skiing rings (cross country) where are also held national competitions.
IIn the nearby village of Gazzano of Villa Minozzo ( Km 1.5 ) it is possible to admire one of the largest permanent exhibition of nativity scenes in Italy, made and looked after by the well-known master Antonio Pigozzi. Nearby there are important destinations for religious pilgrimages that goes from the Abbey of Frassinoro to the hermitage of San Pellegrino in Alpe (Lucca).
The structure is run by the family Bimbi, it offers 3 rooms with bathroom on a total surface area available to guests of 140 square meters, including living room with flat screen TV, private garden and parking (free and of exclusive use of guests) with free Wi - Fi throughout the structure.
The B & B Il Mulino can accommodate up to 6 adult guests + a child up to 12 years:
